Music is my undisputed love. As painters depict emotion through paint, a paint brush, and canvas, I do the same through my guitar, knowledge of scales, and personal tone preference. There are many different ways I approach music each day; I believe I cover a good part of the spectrum between everyday listening, being a fan, and my dream of creating music.
Music is prevalent in everyday life. When you watch television, there is a song for every commercial, sitcom, awards ceremony, and movie. Every time I drive in my car, I have to have my music loud. I also fixate on a single song, and it has to be the perfect song for the moment, only when it is over, another song pops into my head that has now taken the role as "the perfect song." Every house I go to, whether it be the home of family or friends, there is always music playing. It could be full blast or it could be as simple as the television or low background noise. About fifty percent of my discussions with people are about music: I talk about concerts I have seen, songs, or parts of songs, that I enjoy; even the music that I, or others, have written...
