We are a society that is captivated by celebrities. Whole industries are supported by our insatiable
thirst for celebrity news and gossip. Therefore, having a favorite star at a birthday party would be
a thrilling endeavor for most people. They pray for a chance to be close to someone they admire.
I like a lot of artist, actors and musicians, but when it comes down to it I don't know any
personally. The thought of spending an evening with a complete stranger, regardless of their
occupation, is not appealing to me. Especially if that stranger if soaking up all the attention on my
day.
I would use this chain of events to my advantage by picking Brittany Spears. Brittany is a
big name with a fanatical following. I would then set aside 35 invitations to my party, which I
would sell on EBAY for a minim bid of $500 a piece...
