John Maynard Keynes
What are economics? When one thinks of economics, business, money, sticks and the government involvement comes to mind. Well there are many different definitions that people use, many that are useful to themselves. Before understanding economics are, one must understand what is the economy? The Webster's dictionary defines economy as "a social and economic system that is defined by how economic decisions are made and how resources are owned and controlled" (Webster's Dictionary 348). Then one can understand that economics are the "efficient allocation of the scarce means of production to satisfy human wants" (). Now that everyone understands what economics are, I can go on to talk about one of the greatest economist ever to contribute tot out economy. John Maynard Keynes is a very famous economist who contributed a lot to our economy with three different sets of theories: Classical and Neo-Classical theories and his Keynesian theories
In his classical and neo-classical theories John Maynard Keynes Classical theories revolved mainly around the role of markets in the economy.
