Building towards the future
I understand that you chose "Building for the future" as the theme for this conference. I think that in order to give a proper presentation I should dress for the occasion.
(shed suit jacket, don hard hat and utility belt.)
When something is built, let's say it is a house, in order for it to be built well, there must be blueprints or plans that cover all the details and tell what goes where and when. You have to decide if you want a basement. If you do, it must be dug out before a foundation can be made and a floor can be built. The floor has to come before the walls and the walls have to come before the ceiling otherwise the roof would not stay up. There are certain necessary steps to follow in order to make it work.
In your life, if you want to build towards the future, you too must have a plan. This plan involves taking stock of your materials and deciding what to build and then figuring out how to build it, and what to do first...
