Obesity Causes and Prevention
In the United States obesity has become a very serious problem. It has reached epidemic proportions. There are almost 59 million adults who are obese. Adults, however, are not the only ones who are affected by this disease. There are about 9 million children who are also affected.
I chose this subject because it is of interest to me. Obesity affects several members of my family and I am one of them. I am not severely obese, but obese by the standards of medicine. This has made me interested in finding out more information about obesity and what I can do to change the obesity in my family.
