Reasons for Genocide in the Early 20th Century

There were several reasons for genocide in the early 20th century. First, let us define genocide as the elimination of a race of people. There is no real way to justify genocide, but in the early 20th century certain people had their reasons. One of these reasons for genocide was jealousy. A second reason was the feeling that human life had no value. The final reason is to inspire fear in people in order to control them. We find examples of these three different reasons for genocide in three different countries in the early 20th century.
The first, and most well known, example of genocide that will be discussed is the Nazi attempt to eliminate the Jewish people. The Nazi's wanted to eliminate all of the Jewish people from Germany and all of the areas that the Nazi's controlled. Part of the reason for the Nazi's hatred of the Jews was jealousy...
