The original civilizations of Central Mexico, like others civilizations, had to adapt to their environments. This meant changing the amount of clothing worn and the material used to produce the clothes. Their clothing was not only influenced by their environment, but also by their religion and their social status and or positions. These Central Mexican civilizations include the Aztecs, Incas and Mayans. While the Incas lived in cooler areas (due to the fact that they lived on coastal lands), the Aztecs and Mayans lived in hot climates.
