When people read a book, article, poem or even a slogan they often have an emotional reaction. For some it may be a positive and others negative. In reading the book, Celia, A Slave the emotions one might have will vary depending on the background a person has. The views of the book may appeal in different way therefore I plan to discuss the events that happened and the possible outcomes. Also to relate the diversity and justice through out the book based on different situations.
Celia, A Slave is a book written by Melton McLaurin. It's based on a true story that happen in Missouri in 1855. It begins with a farmer, Robert Newson, who goes to purchase a slave. He purchases a slave girl, Celia, who is fourteen years old. After his purchase he proceeds to go home and on the trip he rapes her...
