Exploitation of Homosexuals by Using Television
It's hard not to turn on the television and watch a sitcom without experiencing media's homosexual revolution. Many of the most popular are taking advantage of the growing interest of homosexuality to get higher ratings. They know that homosexuals should be accounted for and included into their programming, because they are just as important as everyone else. Recently, television shows have been breaking the boundaries of homosexuality by including homosexual characters; however, these shows exploit homosexuals by the use of stereotypical beliefs.
Television sitcoms are benefiting from the stereotypical gay characters. One sitcom that portrays a homosexual character in a stereotypical way is "Will and Grace." "Will and Grace" is a show that is about two friends that live together and share a very special bond. However, Will is gay and Grace is straight. In addition, two other characters, Jack, a flamboyant homosexual, and Karen, a spoiled alcoholic, also appear on the show. Jack is very emotional and usually makes gay jokes...
