Clark Gable was known as King of Hollywood. He was born on February 1, 1901 in Cadiz Ohio. He was the only child of William H. Gable. Clark lost his Mother when he was seven months old. His grandparents took care of him till age of two, when his father married to Jennie Dunlap and moved to Hopedale Ohio.
When Clark was seventeen years old, he dropped out of high school, because of his father forceful personality to quit school and start working. He started his first job at Tire Factory in Akron, and after couple months working there he started a new career in the local playhouse as backstage callboy.
Not long after his second job he received news about his stepmother that she was dying. He immediately went back to be with his mom who died within days after he arrived...
