I still remember the date. I even remember the time. I may be an old, withered and bedridden woman, but the memory will still live within me. I look tenderly at the photograph I hold with my frail, brittle fingers. Two youths look up at me, pretty smiles on their faces. The picture was taken exactly a week before the incident. The good thing about a photograph is that it will never change, even though the people in it do. As I lie back on my bed and close my eyes, I know I will cease to exist in this mortal realm. I let my thoughts drift back to when I was a 14-year-old. I let my thoughts drift back to the day I never forgot
