Tension Between Jews and Gentiles

Almost 2,000 yeas ago, there was much tension and conflict between the Jewish Christians and the Gentile Christians. Jews were unsatisfied with the way the Gentiles were treating their religion especially the fact that the Gentiles did not observe many parts of the Judaic Law which the Jews considered to be bery important. There was much questions over ways these tensions could be solved.
First, the question came up, "How does Jesus deal with the Gentiles?" This question can be answered if we take a look at the Acts of the Apostles. The conflict between the Jes and the Gentiles, which had originated in Antioch was now heard about in Jerusalem. There, the elsders, Paul, Peter, Barnabas and James debated on the issue. The Pharisees found that it was necessary to followthe law of Moses, specifically circumcision. At this time, Peter rose up saying that God made a choice to which Peter will preach to the Gentiles. Peter also spoke that the Holy Spirit would descend on them and would make no distinction between Jews and Gentiles...
