The Iceman - OETZI
The mystery of Oetzi the iceman is still not fully discovered. There are many implications and guesses behind who this mummy really was before his death and after his death, although there are no real break throughs to back any of these hunches up.
There aren't many areas of Oetzi's discover that we can be sure of, though each and everyone has their own opinion on him. Oetzi brings up many controversial issues to do with how scientists research these kinds of artefacts and whether they're missing vital clues.
THE DISCOVERY OF OETZI -
The BBC News say in one article that; "In September 1991 two hikers made a sensational discovery a frozen body high in the mountains, near the border between Austria and Italy. It turned out to be 5,300 years old, the oldest frozen mummy ever." I believe that what the BBC News say about Oetzi's discovery is true as there is more that one source that agrees with this statement. The two hikers also provided a photo of the body when they came in contact with it, as proof of their story. Also added was that he was found in the Oetz Valley which is where his name originated, and that the hikers were a German couple. BBC in two different articles also say; "The iceman was discovered by German hikers in the September of 1991 in the Oetzi Valley...
