Introduction
I chose to analyse airline websites. The four websites that I chose were
- Qantas
- Air New Zealand
- Cathay Pacific
- Virgin Blue
Each web site was created for the same basic reason: to allow customers to book their flights over the internet. Each website contains information about the company. As well as extensive information about what customers should do before they arrive at the airport, as well as what they should do when the get to the airport. Most of the companies offer discounts for booking online, or offer some bonus for booking online.
Analysis
Each website will be analysed from a customer perspective. Each analysis will have four parts
1. Context information company name, URL, how I found the site, date last updated, and current hit count
2. Business model purpose of company developing this website, what the site's business is, the intended audience, what the sites business model is, and what functions are provided
3. Site Design loading time, site design and layout features, mission and privacy statements...
