He is not only my father, but also my teacher, my mentor and my friend. He has helped me to develop into a person that I am today. I could say proudly that I respect, love, and admire him more than anybody else in this world.
I still remember how I explored the world in my early childhood. At the age of two, I began learning to count, but in a very special way. Each day, my father asked me to remove a sheet of the calendar block and tell him what date it was. My number horizon expanded to 31 as no month had more than 31 days. Thus, when I suddenly encountered the number 32, and listened to my father's explanation of how to form one number after another, I was totally surprised. For the first time, I knew how to create something new from an existing one. That I could make as many numbers as I liked was a great discovery to a little child like me...
