	A Place Where the Sea Remembers
	Main Characters: Chayo is one of the main characters in the novel. She is a young woman in her early twenties. She is a very independent and strong woman. Her job is to sell paper flowers to the tourists or residents of the small village, Santiago. She helps support herself and her husband, though her husband Candelario is a salad-maker. Chayo can sometimes be a stubborn person, and she takes things very serious, and she will hold a grudge, but she is still forgiving after some time. Marta is another main character of the novel. She is a young girl, in her late teen years. She cleans hotels as a job. She is the younger sister of Chayo. Marta is a girl who is not really sure what she wants to do with her life and is not sure what her true destiny is. Approximate Word count = 534 Approximate Pages = 2.1 (250 words per page double spaced)
