How to Take Note of What You Read
1. Read the material thoroughly before writing.
2. Use index cards of uniform size (4 x 6 / 5 x 8) in taking down notes.
3. Take down only one note card per card. Write only on one side for every reference.
4. Indicate the source of information on the upper left hand corner of the card. The source is expected to be in your bibliographical card so it is sufficient to write the author's name, abbreviate the title of the book or article and accurate page number...
