HAWAI'I !!! Can you believe that we went to Hawai'i!
We left College Station on December 23, 2003, after returning from Corsicana where we celebrated Christmas with Ron's side of our family. Ron worked on Monday, and went in on Tuesday morning but came home by 10am for us to prepare to leave for the airport. Cece showed up, we loaded the Suburban with our 4 backpacks and 4 bags, and we left for the airport!
Check-in at the College Station airport is always so much easier and quicker than check-in anywhere else. Even with taking off shoes. However, we found out thanks to Ron that a gum wrapper really will set off the metal detector.
We got on the plane and took off ahead of time...
