The movie "Saving Private Ryan" takes place in June of 1944 during World War Two. The main character Captain Miller and his squad must go behind enemy lines to rescue one soldier, Private Ryan. His 3 brothers were already killed in the war and he is the only one left. Captain Miller is sent on this mission mainly because of propaganda. The Army Chief believes that bringing home Private Ryan will be a big morale boost that the US needs to keep their men fighting strong. The movie starts off at Omaha Beach, which is a very gruesome scene. The men unload and are immediately showered with enemy fire and many lives are lost. Captain Miller and his men are able to survive the bloodbath and make it out okay. One they get their order to find Private Ryan, they travel through Northern France. They meet up with another squadron and ask them about Private Ryan...
