XP2 Systems
I work at a local credit union called Norton Community Credit Union (NCCU). The credit union is a financial institution that not only needs a reliable database, but also the highest security possible. The database our credit union currently uses is a system called XP2 Systems, which is based on IBM DB2.
The database is set up based on the member's information. The primary key is a hidden field named customer_id. There are many tables used in the database, and is set up to be a many to many relationship. The database is backed up daily on-line with daily logs, and bi-monthly with a complete backup off-line.
The XP2 Systems was created for credit unions to efficiently and affordably manage data processing in house and maintain the security needed for consumer privacy. The DB2 relational database allows NCCU to work with the data and create various reports. The software will work with crystal and SQL, once it is complete...
