Journal # 1
Chapter 11
Today my teacher asked the class to do a journal on Chapter 11 and I
figured that it would be something different to do. When I opened up the book to
the chapter I was disappointed. I thought that I was going to be reading a story but
it was a chapter of writing strategies. I thought that I knew how to write. Well, I
could write good enough for me. Anyone can write a story and draw some bubbles
for the outline. I have to admit that once I read Chapter 11, I was quite impressed.
The last paper that I wrote was in the ninth grade. My writings didn't contain, the
skill and organization that I learned in Chapter 11. I thought writing was just
throwing words together...
