In the book Bless the Beasts and Children by Glendon Swarthout, it deals with the nature of evil, and how people were killing living animals and making them extinct. They were killing them for materials like, clothes, and of course for food.
This was not a "hunt" but the people were referred to as "shooters." Where the people were doing this was at the Buffalo Preserve Arizona Game And Fish Department Roscoe Ranch 4 Miles South Visitors Welcome. The buffalo were fed hay in the winter, and followed a feed truck around like sheep. That's how these buffalo were being treated. One way in which people are evil are " she raised the rifle, notching it between her knees, and sighted the bull. She fired." "Of the sixty million buffalo estimated to range the American West a century ago, there remained a few thousand now, surviving in small herds which were confined to preserves and managed either by the various states or by the federal government" this means that the buffalo are becoming extinct, and if everyone keeps shooting them, they will all die out.
