Toby Keith Concert Review
On September 11, 2004, 2,400 fans gathered at Camden's Tweeter Center in suspense of seeing Toby Keith. At about 7:30 Scotty Emerick opened up the show performing a few of his songs including "I Can't Take You Anywhere". Then, around 8:00, Terri Clark took the spot light and performed some of her well known songs like "Girls Lie Too", "I Wanna Do It All", "Better Things To Do" as well as some of her other Greatest Hits songs.
As the clock approached nine, numerous fans waited in anticipation of seeing the main act, Toby Keith. The cloudless sky lit up with the illumination of Philadelphia's city. Then a little bit after nine, Keith's "I Love This Bar" backdrop came to life. The minutes felt like hours, but as ten after nine approached, Toby Keith was greeted by a powerful applause as he began his portion of the concert.
Within the past couple years Toby Keith has grown to become one of the most well known country singers. One of his most impressive accomplishments is that 12 of his 16 number one hit songs have been self written. In addition to this accomplishment, Keith has won numerous awards including Favorite Country Album, Entertainer of the Year, Male Video Artist of the Year, and Cocky Video of the Year for "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)"...
