Technology Helping or Hurting

Many people think that technology is helping our economy and in many ways it is true. However, it is also affecting the new generation for the worse--by introducing new electronic devices, resulting in children preferring indoors over physical activity. Electronic devices also offer "the adventure" without leaving the comfort and safety of their own home. Electronic devices and realistic graphics keep children from the inability to otherwise experience the opportunity to experience and an electronic device are able to share that knowledge.
Nintendo has come out with many different versions including Play Station, XBox and 64. Technology has improved the graphics and the meaning of games to the point that children prefer playing Nintendo to activities outside the home that involve physical activity. It is a proven fact that it is imperative to exercise for good health and in many cases, exercise is a simple as leaving your keyboard and "walking" out the door.
Computer games give children an alternative to adventure, and an alternative to exercise. Many children would prefer to experience the adventure by the touch of a keyboard, which includes graphics that are more to the point than being there in person. One other factor to consider is that most parents are working outside of the home in order to provide income for food, clothing and shelter...
