Seafarer and The Wanderer

"The Seafarer" and "The Wanderer" have many similarites, yet they also have some differences. Both of Them are lonely and don't have any family or friends. They both dwell on the past often. And even though they are both on the sea a lot only "The Seafarer" has a real passion for the sea.
Both "The Seafarer" and "The Wanderer" are lonely people without any family or friends. in both poems they describe the lonliness. Lines twenty-five through twenty-six in "The Seafarer" describes his lonliness it says, "No kinsman could offer comfort there,/ To a soul left drowning in desolation." It's pretty much saying that there is no one to with in his isolation. Lines ten and eleven in "The Wanderer" describes the way he feels with no friends or family around him. "No man is living, no comrade left/ To whom I dare fully unlock my heart...
