John Kerry, the fore-runner of the Democratic Party's presidential election candidate, participated in 14 contests and only losing two to his opponent. In the speech he delivered for his campaign, it was full of propaganda. In one of his speeches, method of propaganda can be found easily.
First he uses the one of the most common methods used by all politiciansname calling. It is the most direct way to campaign. This method involves arousing opposition to the competing candidate, or policy by associating it with a negative image. By comparison, Kerry's own policies are attractive. And Kerry's policies also uses another propaganda method know as the glittering generally. Essentially the opposite of name calling, glittering generality surrounds Kerry and his policies with images that arouse positive feelings.
For example John used name calling when he said "George Bush, who speaks of strength, has made America weaker -- weaker economically, weaker in our health care, weaker in education," (In one of his speeches, quoted from the attached article)...
