Section A - Executive Summary
Introduction
The Sandals Resort Bahamian (Sandals) has asked TRC Energy Services (TRC) to investigate the feasibility of implementing;
1. Energy Efficiency Opportunities (EEOs) to reduce annual operating costs.
2. Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) improvements that will improve overall comfort for your guests. In particular, the mold and odor issue in the Windsor corridor will be eliminated.
3. A distributed generation (DG) or combined-heat-and-power (CHP) system to provide a stable supply of supplemental electricity, chilled water and domestic hot water.
The following information relates our findings, which confirm that several projects are technically viable and can result in substantial energy cost savings for Sandals.
