"Paper or Plastic"
Going to the grocery store is a task most of us do on at least on a weekly basis. The act of going to the grocery store doesn't require much thought, and it doesn't take too much thought to gather your groceries and get in line, but just as you are checking out, you are faced with the very probing question, "Paper or plastic?" Plastic bags are the obvious choice because of the many disadvantages of paper bags.
If you have ever tried carrying a lot of groceries in paper bags, you immediately are faced with a problem. No handles! So instead of picking up all of your purchases and carrying them out in your hands, you must use your grocery cart to carry everything out. Then you must return the cart to the cart return which is time consuming. If your bags just had handles, you could've just picked up all your bags at once and carried them out to your car without the assistance of a grocery cart and saved yourself some time. This is clearly an advantage of plastic bags over paper bags.
Imagine the embarrassment of carrying out your groceries and the bag tearing and everything spilling everywhere...
