Central Idea: To inform my audience about exercising and eating healthy to prevent future health problems.
I. Introduction
A. Growing up, my family always taught me the essentials in life
1. Some of these things included eating healthy and exercising regularly.
2. My parents made sure that I ate the right things, but of course not too much junk food, and they placed me into activities like tennis, basketball, and swimming, that would help keep me in shape.
3. But when I was in fifth grade, an unfortunate situation happened in my familymy mother had a heart attack. Even though her condition was not severe, it opened all of our eyes that maybe we should start taking steps to prevent situations like this from occurring again in the future...
