Coming from my now ex-fiance, I stopped at the closest bar I could find and drank myself into an angry sadness. With some of my remaining logic, I wrestled with my emotions and slowly forced myself to my car. Feeling helpless and without a purpose, I stared at the steering wheel until I felt myself sobering up. Many a night we had fought but I never thought it would ever turn violent. Her few drops of blood, which I told the bartender was mine when I sat, had dried now and the foul smell invaded me, fueling the anger which I already felt.
It was a frightening night. The sky seemed to turn evil as clouds seemed to appear from nowhere and engulfed the dim light offered by the pale crescent moon and stars. I stopped the car and stepped outside and watched as the claw-like moon seem to turn translucent and disappear under the heavy blanket of clouds. I felt the air turn heavy and damp and the smell of rain entered my nose. A gentle wind started to blow and eventually picked up speed...
