Road Rage
Road rage is a criminal offense where a driving situation escalades into something far serious. It is a growing epidemic among drivers. It is usually affected by attitude and emotions that are triggered before or during driving.
Unsafe or aggressive driving usually triggers road rage. Aggressive driving and road rage are not the same thing. Aggressive driving is one or more traffic offenses such as tailgating, not signaling a lane change, speeding, or other forms of negligent driving. A driver's attitude affects their driving and the driving environment. Attitude- a response, favorable or unfavorable, that a person has to a specific situation.
Most road rage crashes are a result of miscommunication and lacking courtesy. Ninety percent of rear-end crashes are a result of trying to follow someone too close behind them...
