There are all kinds of leadership types out there, and many one can choose from, in his/her dealings with there command or organization. With anything from legitimate leadership to coercive leadership at the disposal of the leader or leadership head, one has a vast array of possibilities to choose from. In the book A Sense of Honor by James Webb, there is this vast array of leadership possibilities shown through out the book. ... In reading this story, you get the inside look into the minds and difficulties of a plebe at the service academy, a first class officer, and a company officer, have in dealing and understanding and applying leadership within the academy walls, as well as outside of them. ... While this is only slightly true, there is the fact that sometimes in leadership one must push the boundaries of the rules and parameters for the greater good of the organization or for the individual in question. ... This was a great book, showing all types of leadership ideas and different types of leaders. It showed a wide range of what can be done in certain situations and how to deal with certain aspects of leadership. Yet these are only ideas on what can be done, one must take each leadership opportunity and analyze it, plan on what to do, check to see if its possible and then execute what needs to be done. ... This book also shows what bad leaders are and what doesnt work in the pursuit of leadership and responsibility.
