CULTURAL VALUES AND PERSONAL ETHICS
Values are based on the beliefs and attitudes learned from family, religion, culture and business experience. In addition, values are considered to be a philosophy that is meaningful to a person, company or a culture. Each of these entities is guided by a set of values, which are always present and influence every decision making process.
Making decisions is a very important function that everyone, in a personal and professional level, needs to face on a daily basis. Decision making based on values, not only are they the core of a company and its success, but also are the foundations for a person to achieve excellence in life. Personally, I strongly believe that all the decisions I make are based on values and facts. As a result, values are considered to be a very important aspect of society in general, and myself in specific.
Values, including personal, organizational or cultural have a strong influence when I make decisions at any level. While most of the times I make my decisions based on facts, in most instances, my values outweigh the fact.
