Quenepas is a fruit grown in Puerto Rico. This fruit tastes different than any other fruit I
have ever ate in my life. I personally don't like a lot of fruit. Quenepas tastes more like a candy
than a fruit such as a apple or a banana. Fruits such as an apple have a bland or dull tasting to
me. A quenepas has a "kicking" taste so to call it. Quenepas have a very distinct taste and are
grown in Puerto Rico.
A quenepas looks like a green grape blown up a size or two with a dark green and slight
brown coloring on the hard skin. You do not eat the skin on a quenepas you peel it off and eat
the inside that has a lime green ball with gouy stringy green substance on the outside. Quenepas
have a very hard small pit in the middle so you have to be careful...
