Recent circumstances in our country have made many Americans extra proud of their freedom. 9/11 and the war in Iraq are just a couple of examples. Americans tend to think that our way of doing thing is the only right way. My experience in London, while studying abroad this past summer for six weeks, has taught me otherwise. We are not the only free country in this world and our way of doing things is not the only way to have a successful country. London is one of the busiest cities in the world, but is strangely calm at the same time. The people are very competent in achieving their life duties, yet still have time in the day to unwind and have a cup of tea or a pint of beer. In the six weeks that I was living in London, I felt more freedom than I have in the 20 years I have been alive and living in the U.S., mainly because of their different attitude on alcohol, marijuana, and police officers...
