My entire life I have been taught what is considered right and wrong by my parents, or ultimately, the church. I grew up going to a non-denominational church about a block away from my home in Brandon, Florida. Though I have been told what I should believe is right and wrong, some of my beliefs vary from those of the church. However, many of my morals are based on what has been embedded on my brain since I was a small child. For example, I choose not to steal not only because my religion says it is wrong to do so, but also because I do not believe it is not fair to the person the item was stolen from. Some one who was not brought up with religious morals may still share this same feeling towards stealing.
