Our Experience in Japan

  For this project I interviewed my parents. My family and I spent 4 years living in Tokyo, Japan. We left in 1994 and returned in 1998. The reason for us being there was because my father works for Amway and he was in charge of marketing so we were there on business. While we were there my father got promoted to working on the Olympics in Nagano because Amway was a sponsor. So after the Olympics were finished there we came home.
       Moving over there was a big culture shock for all of us. There were so many different customs to get used to. We had to acknowledge all of their holidays, and they had a holiday for pretty much everything. There was a Japanese holiday almost every other week...
