Every four years in November eager Americans line up at the polls to make what they feel is an important decision , who will become the next president of the United States. Many other Americans view this a waste of time, and to be honest who can blame them. With what seems to be only two choices, democrat or republican, non-voters see no real reflection of their own lives or ideals. There seems to also be many outside powers that control the election, weather it is the supreme court or the electoral college, and they are the ones who really decide. Who will the president listen to once in office, with big money campaign contributions and lobbyist, think your voice and visions be represented? So in November when most of America will be lining up to cast their ballot, others will simply go about with daily life.
What would life be like if you only had two choices in every decision ; food , cars , jobs , or religion? Life would seem really unbalanced , well many people think that same way about this years election. How come America only has two major political parties , when almost all other first world nations have twenty or more? What party do you side with when neither really represents you way of thinking?..
