Today's Code of chivalry
The code of chivalry was what the knights in the middle ages lived by and obeyed. They included personal honor, loyalty to the king, defending the weak, and courage. Are the acts of chivalry still around? Do people still have these characteristics? Some, more than others, still exist in today's society.
Personal honor is a characteristic that people possess when they have pride in their self, family, friends and aren't embarrassed of where they came from. Today, personal honor is represented in different ways. When the first same sex couple demanded equal treatment to marry, they had personal honor in doing so because they were proud they were gay and wanted to show that. Another contemporary example is when a person has morals, whether it be about their body, mind or who they hang out with.
