The three major monotheistic religions in the word are Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. In present day many people believe that all three of these religions are very different. These differences are the reason for reoccurring conflicts between the three religions. But, what most people don’t know, is that all these religions are closely linked. Although not all monotheistic religions believe in the same god or holidays, the way these religions use laws, guilt, and belief of god v.s. family to enforce community and social standards and behaviors are very similar. Judaism, Christianity, and Islam resemble one another because these three religions all have a set of laws and rules for believers to follow. The followers of any of the three religions believe that if they follow the laws/rules that their god has given them, then they will not be able to go to heaven or paradise when they die. Judaism and Christianity follow the 10 commandments, and Islam follows the 5 pillars. In document #2 it says that if you are faithful to God, then he will admit you to paradise. The Muslim way of being faithful to god is by following the 5 pillars. It is possible to say that if you are a Muslim, and you want to get admitted into Paradise after you die, then you must follow these 5 pillars.
