This book, by Alan Bramson is a practical look at the basics of flying. It covers a variety of techniques that every pilot should know and understand. The author discusses the human aspect as well as the mechanical side of flying. In his introduction he brings up an often claimed statement saying, "there is nothing wrong with and aircraft, it is only when you sit a pilot behind the controls that the hardware becomes potentially dangerous." This statement says a lot in how pilots act as in charge. The book in the first few chapters discusses this issue. We as humans have several attitudes that we must deal with. Mr. Bramson in his introduction talks about several of these attitudes that effect the pilot. These attitudes also cause serious accidents...
