Introduction
This report will consider the future of the River Doe Lea. I will assess the river's problems and their effects on the environment. I will discuss what has been done to improve the river's water quality and what I think the river will be like in 20 years. I will consider viewpoints held by interested parties. This will enable me to consider whether a balance can be achieved between industrial activity and the conservation of ecosystems.
