  Africa is considered to be one of fronts on the War on Global Terrorism. "The estimate is that one third of Africa's 700 million citizens are Muslim. That alone means nothing as many are not radical in their beliefs." (Morrison) The US has successfully carried out relationships with many countries in Africa, yet after years of poverty and living under corrupt governments some Muslims turn toward "donors" to fund their communities and in turn are taught anti-U.S. and anti-western sentiment.
