For me, the tar baby came to mean the black woman who can hold things tighter.” (“An interview-8) The intriguing book Tar Baby a novel by Toni Morrison is a novel that touches base with the biases which exist on race levels, gender level and class levels. The conflict of differences that individuals present has always seemed to promote problems in the past. Toni Morrison changes the people’s raw perspective and unravels a different perspective where we are all the same, but what splits us up into groups is not only social, religion or beliefs.
