Salem Witch Trials
In my personal opinion the Salem Witch Trials were a result of socio-economical treason. Yes the "witches" followed their own religion and did not follow God has the rest of them did. But the others did not dislike them because of that. They disliked them and persecuted them because they were different. The "witches" did not follow the normal rule of the times. "Witches" made up their own rules and did their own things. They also corrupted many other people who felt that they had been possessed but they never hurt them. For them that was their way of life, in their views it was the best way of life. In everybody else's view it was a terrible way of life. People viewed "witches" has trash not so much because they were following another religion but because they weren't acting exactly like they were...
