The early years of a child's life is greatly impacted by the action and teachings of those surrounding them. This fact allows teachers to have a huge amount of influence on children everyday while they're in school. Like a parent, a teacher must help a child to understand things, aid them in preparing for their future, and keep them on track. To be a teacher is to have an opportunity to contribute to another individual's goals and influence their dreams.
A secondary education teacher must be patient and honest in order to work with many children who have already taken a step into adulthood. Through their own education, a bachelor's degree or even better, a Master's degree, teachers learn to be able to work with many different types of people regularly (Bureau of Labor Statistics). These teachers are not normally supervised, so they have the chance to remain relaxed and to be creative with the students.
Due to the steady amounts of students enrolling in secondary schools, the job demand is expected to grow at an average rate. This means many teachers will earn between $42,000 and $60,000 as found in the past (Coin3).
