Resurrection of Christ
The gospel of Christ is the good news of Him being sent born of the virgin Marry, lived a sinless life, died, and rose again so that we, as believers, may have eternal life. Thus the resurrection is of great importance to the believer. For if He didn't rise from the dead, then how can He grant us this new life? If this resurrection is false than Jesus would be considered a fraud and isn't who He claimed to be. Historical tests can demonstrate the truth of the Christian faith by examining the evidence for Jesus' resurrection.
Scientists may argue against this raising of the dead. A scientist experiments with proof of repeatable things. If one can test something ten times and all ten times he reaches the same conclusion then it must be true to the experiment. But in this case, the resurrection cannot be repeated and must be studied or proven in a different sense. Being it is history, not to be repeated, one must take on proving this by legal or historical proof...
