My name is Nanda Taliyakula. I am working for Verizon Communications as a Project Lead in Software Development. I am excited to talk about the FiberToThePremises project I am currently working on at Verizon, which placed me among the innovators of broadband industry. At Verizon we are working on an innovative and transformational initiative called FiberToThePremises project. Verizon is the first major telecom in the world to rollout Fiber Optic network to the customer’s home or business. This provides huge network bandwidth to the customer, which provides enormous opportunities for Verizon to provide newer revenue generating services including Video. This initiative is transforming the telecom industry and is fuelling the growth of broadband industry.
