As she left the house Laura seemed frightened and apprehensive to teach at school. As she walked on she encouraged herself by saying, " I've got to go on." As she neared the school, she took a moment before she went in to collect her nerves. Most likely, I would have done this coping in a similar way. I would have definitely taken the moment to breathe and gather myself together. The first few moments after entering the classroom seemed to be uncomfortable. She gathers her speech and tries to break the ice by making a statement. After they all gave their smart remarks too her, she somewhat let it pass over her and moved on. I probably would have stumble over my words in those first few minutes. I definitely would have tried to handle just like her...
