Coachella
The words Coachella Valley mean different things to different people, but to the youth of the Southwest the words have become synonymous with music. This year's talent for the fifth annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival have bolstered the event's reputation in the music world.
The festival was held May 1st and 2nd with an amazing line-up for both days. For the first time in five years Coachella sold out of it's 10,000+ tickets for Saturday and Sunday. With headliner: Radiohead, along with the reunion of The Pixies, The (International) Noise Conspiracy, Heiroglyphics, Sparta, The Sounds, and many more worthwhile bands, it's no wonder the Saturday show sold out. "I know it's a little too hot to put on your best dancing shoes, but this song might change your mind," said Lyxzen of The (International) Noise Conspiracy.

The Flaming Lips put on an amazing show and the lead singer put himself into a large bubble and walked across the 10,000 people in the audience. When The Cure closed out the night on the main stage they played one of their most original songs "The Lovecats" along with one of their biggest hits "Boys Don't Cry."
The festival wasn't just for concert lovers though, there was also a musically driven film festival and many art installations...
